  • What is the use of Uintptr_t?

    Types and intptr_t uintptr_t are extremely useful for pointers, thrown away when the math wants to handle them. Instead, they should be used similarly or long unsigned long to end it. Using a cast on uintptr_t is generally safer than intptr_t , especially for comparisons.

    Looks like the recently released glibc made some changes to the stdint.h headers of the human header (fixed the stdint names.h space). stdint.A has already been used in several network headers, e.g. netinet/in.h or possibly netdb.h containing utils.h. Since we’re going to be using a lot more fixed-width integers than we’re putting them in, we could probably put them exactly through utils in .h. I made a promotion in the main 2425-stdint branch.
